Ted Olt joined the firm in 1995, and focuses primarily in corporate and transactional matters, including corporate law and governance, mergers & acquisitions, contracts, commercial real estate, and environmental law. With over 27 years of experience counseling a wide variety of business clients, Ted combines legal knowledge and analysis with practical advice to help clients achieve their objectives in an effective and efficient manner.
Ted is recognized with Martindale-Hubbell’s highest AV Preeminent ® rating. He is admitted to practice in both Iowa and Illinois, a Member of the Iowa State Bar Association’s Environmental Law Council, and the Society of Corporate Governance.
Ted is active in the Quad Cities community, currently serving on the Board of Directors for Illowa Council Boy Scouts of America, the former President of the Scott County Regional Authority, and Junior Achievement of the Heartland Central Region. In addition, Ted serves as an U.S. Naval Academy Blue & Gold Officer, counseling and interviewing candidates seeking admission to the U.S. Naval Academy.
Ted is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy (B.S. Political Science 1985) and the University of Iowa College of Law (J.D. 1994). He is also a member of Pi Sigma Alpha and Order of the Coif. Ted resides in Bettendorf, Iowa, and enjoys cycling, skiing, and shooting sports.
