Labor & Union Relations

Overview

We know labor matters are an important part of your business. We frequently provide counsel on labor relations issues resulting from mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate reorganizations and restructuring – in both union and non-union settings.

We represent our clients in union organizing campaigns, from pre-petition stage through post-election procedures, and in National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) proceedings such as representation elections and unfair labor practice charges. For clients whose employees are organized, we represent management in collective bargaining negotiations and make sure company representatives are fully aware of their rights under their collective bargaining agreements.

Our lawyers work side-by-side with clients facing a variety of issues:

  • Work force reductions and early retirement programs
  • Federal contract compliance
  • Whistleblower laws
  • Executive contracts
  • Wage-hour matters
  • Trade secret protection
  • Labor standards
  • Collectively bargained benefit plans
