Five named to the 2022 Iowa Bar Association Pro Bono Honor Roll

The Iowa State Bar Association has named five Lane & Waterman attorneys to their 2022 ISBA Pro Bono Honor Roll. Alex Barnett, Maegan Gorham, Tim Gulbranson, Jenny Juehring, and David Waterman were recognized for efforts in providing legal services to low-income Iowans. The entire list can be found here.

Alexander C. Barnett joined Lane & Waterman in July 2017 and practices primarily in the area of litigation with focus areas of commercial litigation, construction law, worker’s compensation, and product liability and mass torts.

Maegan M. Gorham joined Lane & Waterman in 2018. Her practice focuses primarily on general business matters, employment, and education law. She assists corporations, limited liability companies, and other entities with formation and governance, commercial contract drafting and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and compliance matters. Maegan also assists partners and clients and with civil litigation in commercial and employment matters.

Tim Gulbranson joined Lane & Waterman in 2015 and practices primarily in the areas of estate planning and litigation, probate and trust administration, and real estate. He also counsels companies with securities, formation, governance, and contractual matters.

Jenny Juehring joined Lane & Waterman in August 2020. Her practice focuses primarily on litigation with focus areas of commercial litigation and employment litigation.  Jenny also assists partners and clients with corporate matters and general employment matters.

David C. Waterman spent more than four years at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida where he served as a federal prosecutor in the Appellate and Criminal Divisions. As a federal prosecutor, David argued appeals before the Eleventh Circuit and directed federal and local law enforcement agencies in grand jury and wiretap investigations. In 2020, David joined Lane & Waterman (the fifth generation in his family to practice at L&W). At Lane & Waterman, David’s practice areas include civil litigation, white collar criminal defense, government regulatory and compliance, and appeals.
