Lane & Waterman is pleased to welcome four new Associates to the firm.

Rachel M. Conley has joined Lane & Waterman as an associate attorney. Rachel’s practice focuses primarily on Trust and Estates, and General Business. She received her B.A. in Linguistics from Iowa State University and her J.D. from The University of Iowa College of Law. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Summer Associate with Lane & Waterman in 2023, and externed with the Multistate Tax Commission in the Spring of 2024.

Rhianna E. Lightle has joined Lane & Waterman as an associate attorney. Rhianna’s practice focuses on litigation and transactional law. She earned her B.A from the University of Missouri where she studied Geography and Political Science and her J.D. from The University of Iowa College of Law. While at Iowa, Rhianna worked as a research assistant for Associate Dean Emily Hughes, and as a student ambassador for the law school.

Andrew L. Thompson has joined Lane & Waterman as an associate attorney. Andrew’s practice focuses on civil defense litigation, encompassing a diverse array of matters such as tax, employment, labor, estate litigation, and other commercial litigation. Andrew earned his B.A. from Drake University where he studied Political Science as well as Law, Politics, and Society and his J.D. from The University of Iowa College of Law. Before practicing, Andrew spent his 2023 summer at Lane & Waterman as a Summer Associate and before that, he experienced the rapid-fire litigation of the criminal courtroom with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in Phoenix, Arizona.
