Meet Sean Jarvis

Sean grew up in Chatham, Illinois. After high school, he enlisted in the Illinois Air National Guard, where he served for six years and completed his service as a Staff Sergeant. He earned his B.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law.

We asked Sean a few questions to learn more about his background and what brought him to Lane & Waterman.

Tell us a little about your background and what led you to pursue a career in law
I served in the Illinois Air National Guard and decided to pursue a career in law to continue serving my community. I went to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for undergrad and went to the University of Iowa College of Law for Law School.
What was your favorite class in law school?
My favorite class in law school was trial advocacy.
What drew you to Lane & Waterman, and why did you decide to join the firm?
I decided to join Lane & Waterman because of its great reputation and because I have an ability to grow my practice while learning from great attorneys.
What aspects of your work are you most excited about?
I am most excited about representing clients in court.
What is something we would not guess about you?
I am a triplet.
