Abbey joined Lane & Waterman in 2010. Her trial law practice primarily consists of professional malpractice, employment law, and products liability.
Since 2014, Abbey has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in the field of professional liability defense law and has been recognized on the Iowa State Bar Association’s Pro Bono Honor Role since 2013 for her commitment to pro bono service.
Abbey is actively involved in the Quad Cities community, currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Child Abuse Council. Abbey is also active in the Scott County Bar Association, where she currently serves on the Executive Council and formerly served as Chair of the Barrister’s Ball and Mock Trial committees.
Abbey received her B.A., with distinction, from the University of Iowa, her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Abbey lives in Davenport with her husband and two daughters.
