Lane & Waterman attorney Troy Howell will present at the 66^th annual Professional Development Conference & Expo sponsored by the Iowa-Illinois Safety Council on Thursday, April 11 at the Grand River Center in Dubuque, Iowa.

The Iowa-Illinois Safety Council is a nonprofit organization consisting of approximately 1,000 members located throughout Iowa and Illinois.  It provides a wide variety of safety information, seminars and services to members in an effort to reduce both accidents or injuries and the extraordinary costs associated with them.  The Council also helps its members comply with the law and guidelines and stay up to speed on new and changing regulations.  The annual Professional Development Conference & Expo brings together safety, health and environment professionals from Iowa and Illinois for three days (April 10-12) to cover over forty educational sessions regarding various safety, health and environment related topics.

Troy’s presentation is entitled: “Examples of Successful Workers’ Compensation Defenses Under Recent Illinois Case Law and What Management and Safety Can Do to Help”.
