Schiltz elected as President-Elect of Iowa Chapter of American Board of Trial Advocates
On October 14, 2021, Mikkie Schiltz was elected as President-Elect of the Iowa ABOTA chapter. ABOTA (“American Board of Trial Advocates”) is a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges. ABOTA consists of more than 7600 lawyers, equally balanced between plaintiff and defense, along with judges across all 50 states. ABOTA is an invitation-only organization requiring active experience as trial lawyers and virtues of civility, integrity, and professionalism. ABOTA takes on various missions to foster interaction with the judiciary, education and recognition, and scholarships for law students, along with many other activities. Mikkie will serve as President-Elect for 2021-22 and ascend to President of the Iowa ABOTA Chapter in the fall of 2022.
