Samuel Skorepa to be panelist on the topic of Powers of Attorney and Advanced Directives for Low-Income Clients
On April 28, 2015, Lane & Waterman attorney Samuel Skorepa will be a panelist on the topic of “Powers of Attorney and Advanced Directives for Low-Income Clients” as part of the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee’s partnership with Prairie State Legal Services and the Public Interest Law Initiative. The complimentary CLE program will be held at Deere & Company World Headquarters, Moline, Illinois. Attendees will learn how to assist clients with the preparation of Powers of Attorney and Living Wills as well as discuss the recent changes to and the practical implications of the Illinois Power of Attorney Act. The CLE will dovetail into four (4) clinics around the Quad Cities region where volunteers will be assisting individuals prepare Powers of Attorney and Living Wills.
