Lane & Waterman attorneys Jason O’Rourke and Ian Russell served as speakers at the “Advanced Trial Tactics” seminar hosted by the National Business Institute (NBI) today. Jason’s presentation focused on legal ethics, discussing attorney fees and engagement agreements, preventing conflicts of interest, protecting confidentiality, and effective and ethical client communication.

Ian’s presentation focused on technology in the courtroom, where he discussed how to prepare for the digital trial, choosing the right method and form of exhibits, what opposing counsel can do with introduced evidence, and video depositions.
