Oberg Ramirez published in Iowa Defense Counsel Association Spring 2023 Defense Update

Sarah T. Oberg Ramirez wrote an article “What Iowa Defense Attorneys Need to Know About Medical Malpractice Tort Reform and Its Potential Impact on Hospitals” which was published in the Spring 2023 Vol. of the Iowa Defense Counsel Association‘s Defense Update.

Her article examines how the recent Iowa medical malpractice damages caps law may result in increased litigation against hospitals and what hospitals may consider doing now to better prepare to defend against those claims. The Defense Update including Sarah’s article can be found here.
