Lane & Waterman is pleased to welcome Nick Ollero as Associate, effective September 2026. Nick received his bachelor’s in political science with a pre-law concentration from St. Ambrose University in 2016 and his Juris Doctorate from Northern Illinois University – College of Law in 2020. He is admitted to practice in the state of Illinois and is pursuing admission in Iowa.

Prior to joining Lane & Waterman, Nick started his legal career in 2020 in Chicago where he handled a high volume of real estate transactions. His work included contract review and negotiation, ensuring clean title, and managing closings from start to finish. He also assisted clients with 1031 exchanges. Nick’s practice at Lane & Waterman will focus on commercial and residential real estate, representing both property owners and prospective buyers and guiding them through each stage of a transaction with an emphasis on clear communication and careful attention to detail.

A native of Marengo, Illinois, Nick now lives in Bettendorf, Iowa, with his wife Anne and their labradoodle, Ruby. Outside the office, he enjoys golf, tennis, skiing, and can often be found taking long walks with his wife and dog.
