On July 8, 2020, Iowa Supreme Court Justice Tom Waterman presented on significant decisions published by Iowa’s highest court during its 2019 – 2020 term and gave advice on appellate advocacy. Those in attendance at Lane & Waterman’s Davenport offices included three summer law clerks and incoming third-year law students at the Iowa College of Law, associate attorneys, and several partners at the firm. Before his appointment to the Supreme Court in 2011, Justice Waterman was in private practice at Lane & Waterman since 1984.
