Lane & Waterman is pleased to welcome back, Jonathan McGehee as Associate, effective June 2026. Jonathan began his career at Lane & Waterman in 2023 and returned to the firm after practicing at a nationally recognized intellectual property firm in Chicago.

Jonathan represents businesses’ and individuals in civil litigation for the state and federal courts of Iowa and Illinois. His practice consists primarily of commercial and business disputes, with a concentration in intellectual property litigation, including trademark and copyright infringement actions in federal court. Jonathan works to resolve disputes efficiently where that it serves the client’s objectives, and to litigate them where it does not.

A native of the Quad Cities and a 2014 graduate of Moline High School, Jonathan is a third-generation attorney practicing among the friends and family who raised him. Outside the office, he enjoys local concerts, skiing, golf, and tennis.
