Christian Fricke joined Lane & Waterman in September 2026. He specializes in Corporate & Transactional Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Commercial Litigation for the state and federal courts of Iowa. He received his Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in Economics from the University of Iowa in 2023 and his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University of Iowa – College of Law in 2026 with High Distinction. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Summer Associate with Lane & Waterman in 2024 & 2025. While pursuing his Juris Doctorate at the University of Iowa – College of Law, he received the following honors: Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence in Legal Analysis, Writing and Research I, Labor Law, and Administrative Law; Faculty Laward for Academic Excellence in Basic Federal Income Taxation, Jurisprudence ward for Academic Excellence in Deals.

Before pursuing law, Christian served in the Marine Corps (2016-2021) as an Infantry Section Leader and Martial Arts Instructor. He grew up in Council Bluffs, IA., and recently moved to Davenport with his wife and three dogs. He is grateful to return to the team as a practicing Associate at Lane & Waterman for giving him the foundation for success.
