On October 21 2018, The University of Iowa College of Law presented the Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award to Dana Waterman (71JD). The award was presented during the Law Reunion Weekend in Iowa City. Recipients are chosen by their significant accomplishments in their law career and significant service to the College of Law.  Congratulations to Dana on receiving this prestigious award!

Dana is an Of-Counsel attorney with Lane & Waterman LLP, where he has practiced law for more than 47 years, and was the firm’s Managing Partner for 16 years, from 2001 until December 2016. Lane & Waterman is a full-service law firm established in 1854 and located in Davenport, Iowa, with over 30 active lawyers practicing in 36 chief areas of focus. Dana is pictured with his cousin and law partner Bob Waterman (81JD), who introduced him at this event, and Kevin Washburn, Dean of the College of Law after receiving this award.
