The commission is comprised of five attorneys (voted by attorneys in the judicial district) and five governor-appointed individuals and led by a judge from the 7th Judicial District.  When there is an opening for a Judge or Associate Judge in the 7th Judicial District, the commission interviews applicants for 7th Judicial District judge positions and selects the nominees for appointment by the governor.  The 7th Judicial District is comprised of Scott, Muscatine, Cedar, Jackson, and Clinton counties.

Jenny joined Lane & Waterman in 2020. Her practice primarily focuses on commercial litigation, municipal litigation, and appellate practice. Jenny is also experienced in employment litigation, medical malpractice, and trusts and estates litigation.
