Diane M. Reinsch joined Lane & Waterman in 1999 and focuses primarily in civil litigation including defending health care professionals, hospitals and employers. Diane also has a broad-based employment law practice and regularly advises employers on how to avoid litigation through the effective use of employee education, training and employment policies. She represents clients before administrative agencies and in state and federal court. She is an AV rated attorney who often presents on employment related topics at bar sponsored seminars and for clients.
Diane is active in her profession serving on the Iowa Defense Counsel Association, which is an organization of lawyers and claims professionals, who primarily defend claims and legal actions.
Diane received her B.A. with distinction from Iowa State University and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received her M.A. in Russian Linguistics from the University of Iowa. Before obtaining her law degree from the University of Iowa with high distinction, Diane spent several years in the former Soviet Union in the Foreign Service and working for a private company getting a foot hold in the emerging Russian market economy. Diane resides in Moline, Illinois and enjoys cooking for friends and reading.
