Troy Howell co-presents on litigating restrictive covenants at the Iowa State Bar Association Annual Meeting

On June 22, Lane & Waterman attorney Troy Howell co-presented at the Iowa State Bar Association Annual Meeting in Des Moines on Employment Law: Litigating Restrictive Covenants.  Troy presented with Des Moines attorney Bridget Penick on litigation strategies and tips for both enforcing and resisting enforcement of covenants not to compete contained in employment agreements.  Troy has litigated numerous cases regarding the enforceability of non-competes, including having tried several non-compete cases to verdict.  The Iowa State Bar Association consists of approximately 7,000 lawyer members and is the oldest voluntary state bar association in the United States.

Troy A. Howell has been with the firm since 1999 and practices in the areas of civil litigation, including commercial and personal injury defense, and workers’ compensation defense.
