Robert B. McMonagle joined the firm in 1996 and focuses primarily in the defense of civil claims. Robert’s litigation practice is broad-based, having tried dozens of cases involving commercial disputes, property damage, personal injury, and admiralty law. He has served as a mediator and also represented clients before administrative agencies and in union benefit cases.
Robert retired from the Marine Corps Reserve as a Colonel with 30 years of Active and Reserve service. He has served on both the Military Affairs Committee of the Iowa State Bar Association and on the Standing Committee on Military Affairs for the Illinois State Bar Association. At the time of his retirement, Rob had a Top Secret/SCI Clearance, and the investigation remains current until 2019.
Robert currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Quad City Botanical Center and the Scott Community College Foundation.
He received his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from Notre Dame Law School. He resides in Davenport, Iowa.
