Michelle M. Weiser

Biography

Michelle Marcove Weiser joined Lane & Waterman in 2021.  Her practice focuses primarily on general transactional practice, including estate planning, elder law and general business matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Michelle worked at a small firm headquartered in West Des Moines, focusing on estate planning and elder law.  Prior to joining that firm, Michelle worked for the Office of Chief Counsel for the Internal Revenue Service for almost a decade, concentrating in corporate and international taxation.  Michelle’s role with the Office of Chief Counsel offered her opportunities to practice in New York City, Denver and Chicago and, as of 2018, she now calls the Quad Cities home and is proud to be part of the QC community.

Michelle graduated summa cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Sociology and Women’s Studies in 2004.  After working in New York City for a few years, she attended the Washington University School of Law, where she was a member, and served on the executive board, of the Washington University Law Review, and received her Juris Doctorate in 2010.

A Denver native, Michelle appreciates all outdoor activities including running and cycling.  She also enjoys cooking and baking (mostly organic), practicing barre and is a certified yoga instructor. Michelle lives in Davenport with her husband David and their mini poodle, Pepe.
